WATER-PRESSURE-REDUCERS

The pressure reducer on the left is 50 dollars, the one on the right is much more expensive. If getting one of these for your steam room make sure it is corrosion resistant or you will need to buy a new ones when they wear out and corrode. The higher end ones have high grade pistons and work smoother than the cheap ones. The better brands have a stainless steel strainer built in while some of them don't have a strainer at all. Please don't just rely on the person installing your steam generator to get this for you. Most of the time they have the cheapest ones that even cheaper than the 50 dollar ones.

Notice: If your water pressure is too high and it ruins the steam generator, this is not under warranty. Please make sure if you have high water pressure that you get a high quality pressure reducer. I get calls from customers who have links and they don't why it's happening. Update: I am not going to have my customers film any problems they are having with their steam generators. If the generator is not sized just right or the pressure is too high or the water is too hard for some generators there will always be problems. I know how to avoid steam traps on the ceiling, I know what to expect when sizing a generator to someone's steam room.
