Thermasol is very similar to a single tank steam generator but it has a 2nd very small boiling tank that makes it start up in 1 minute. This small secondary tank is also used to give off steam when the main tank is heating back up so you get continous steam. Note: this is not the same as a dual inlet tank and boiler tank. The big thing to consider when buying a Thermasol is how tall your ceilings are and if you are using any porous walls. Thermasol does use a 1/2 inch pipe and is very common in homes that don't have the 3/4 inch pipes. I have no problem using 1/2 inch pipes for very small generators but when the killowatt size gets larger, I recommend 3/4 or 1 inch pipes depending on how much steam is coming out. I also recommend if getting a Thermasol to have 2 steam outlets since they are only 1/2 inch pipes. I personally don't like a loud high pitch sound from smaller pipes.

Another thing to consider is the PSI of the generator. Some work at 15 psi and some 20 psi. If you have a 20psi steam generator I do not recommend anything less than 3/4 inch pipes over 9kw. Most 10.5kw steam generators have 2 steam heads anyway unless they are not the high end type that only has 1 steam head.

I recommend the Thermasol if you are really into smart homes. They have the best sound system, way better LED lighting than any other company offers. Their controllers are state of the art. Their controllers are programmable and you can control it by your phone.

There are 2 types of steam buyers, one that is really into smart homes and the other that cares more about the steam but not so much the fancy touch screens and bluetooth and wifi technology.

The Thermasol is is continuous but still has 2 pressurized steam tanks. It is made in the USA and they have a really good warranty.

My only concern is that those with ceilings over 7 foot tall that are made with porous walls. If you are going to use a Thermasol and have 1/2 inch piping, it won't work with your 3/4 inch pipes if that is what you have. If you have several things not in your favor (tall ceilings, porous walls, smaller pipes that increase the micron size of the steam, and a lower psi generator (closer to 15 psi), make sure you are aware that this can cause wet steam. It may not be the fault of the generator but your room dimensions and having to adjust your cubic footage and get a higher powered killowatt steam generator.

Steam generator filters
This is only needed on the high psi models as far as preventing limescale and calcium deposits on the heating elements and tank. As far as having pure water, a water filter is always going to have a less metalic odor but the big problem is having the elements burn out in a year due to heavy limescale. I recommend having a dual cold water flush but having a single flush is good too as long as elements are made of high quality stainless steel.

ThermaSol® Steam generators

Consumer Notice: If a Thermasol® steam generator is not sold by an authorized dealer you will not have a warranty from the manufacturer. You can always confirm or know the serial number of the steam generator from the manufacturer's email to verify if you get a steam generator it will be warrantied. With this being said, beware of websites that give really cheap prices and when you call them they take your order for it and then say its on backorder just to then sell you a cheap Chinese import. I hear it all the time. It happens almost every day.

ThermaSol® Review
Although I am not a fan of pressurized steam, I have to say this is one of the best brands for those that want a continuous, constant steam but only considering the pressurized types. The ThermaSol® works with 2 tanks unlike the other Tier 1 generator (Mr. Steam) that I have also put in tier 1.  This has the least variance of temperature. It might not be as few as 6 degrees but definitely a step above all the rest I have compared at the same wattage. The ThermaSol® dryness fraction is my 2nd driest steam of all the generators I have compared. I compare this very closely with the other two tier 1 brands (Mr. Steam and Steamcore). Since the ThermaSol® has a lower humidity which is hard to get, it splits up the steam in 2 tanks so the steam is not so wet. While one is releasing, the other is boiling instead of dumping everything from one tank all at once weather it is 90% vaporized water or even less. This one is almost as dry as the open tank non pressurized steam but has a slightly higher latent index from my reviews.

The ThermaSol® is made in the USA. The ThermaSol® has the lowest watt density of all the pressurized chambers I have tried.

The cleaning system in theThermaSol® is really good. I rarely hear stories of limestone buildup as their auto flush is super high end. I urge people that don't have a water softener to get one. They do not have surgical steel elements, only stainless steel. There are more expensive 304 grade surgical steel heating elements that are highly resistant if someone is using hard water. These are the most expensive heating elements I have compared.

Note: I urge people buying this steam generator to get a pressure reducer that will add years to the life of the generator. Home Depot sells them. Also, as pressurized steam can be noisier than the open tank non pressurized steam, I urge people to make sure the person installing the generator has 3/4 inch piping or 1 inch if an even quieter experience is demanded.

Since this is a more constant steam, many people tend to stay in longer than the steam generators that dump steam from one boiling tank and it gets really hot that is not balanced. This is when wet steam happens. The steam coming out of the generator is coming out too much at once quicker than the steam can condense in the room. The last thing I want is my blood pressure to get to 150 beats per minute before I can enjoy the steam. A good constant steam is the steam people looking for a ThermaSol® should expect.

ThermaSol® Customer service:
So, I have never had anyone call me and say anything negative about their customer service. There are people that have had a ThermaSol® generator for years and are getting a new home and everyone has a positive experience. I get calls all the time from Chinese imports breaking down and the companies do not answer their phones and make you pay the shipping back and forth and even pay to get it cleaned before they will troubleshoot the generator. I will not deal with companies like that.

ThermaSol® has been in business since 1958. ThermaSol® invented the first portable steam generator and since then everyone else came about. The people over there really know steam and don't trash talk other brands like some manufacturers.

About the ThermaSol® steam, since it has 2 highly efficient boilers, it doesn't waste as much water as the single tank pressurized generators. The steam is very easy to breath since it is much drier than the single tank types that many people are used to at their gym. You will never need to pour water on the sensors to get a constant steam. The ThermaSol® is the best pressurized steam generator that has this mastered. It has a higher dryness fraction if the room is actually sized right. The latent heat index is much lower than the single pressurized tanks and its much easier to breath in their steam. I recommend the ThermaSol® and have put this in Tier 1A which is the highest rating that I have for pressurized steam generators.

Note: most people calling me for steam generators get the wrong kilowatt size based on sizing charts. There are many other considerations to consider. Please see my new updated sizing chart if interested in a ThermaSol® and I will choose the right size based on your answers.
Take the sizing quiz here.

If you already know the size and model you want, I buy in with several dealers and can usually get better prices depending on which model is being discounted. Call me if interested in a ThermaSol® and you already know what size you need. I will make sure it's the right size if requested.
We are not allowed to advertise discount prices.

If you already know the kilowatt size and model of the Thermasol steam generator please call me. I doubt that my prices will be higher than others who have more advertising expenses and overhead than me. Also you can always verify the serial number of the machine you are getting to confirm you are buying from an authorized dealer.

Give me a chance to give you a great deal on any brands that I promote.
Companies are paying $15.50 every time you clean on the Thermasol key world on Google. The person at the number 1 position could be paying up to 25 dollars every time you click on their word. This makes it almost impossible for certain retails to give a price at a low margin. I don't have these expenses and any profit I make minus the 4 cents per minute for my 800 number is what I take. It is very easy to compete with dealers who have big expenses and I can give better discounts. So, for those that are concerned why my prices are cheaper this is why. Again, I urge everyone to get the serial number of the steam generator BEFORE it gets shipped out so you can confirm there will be a warranty. I will not have other competitors say negative things about me that they can't back up.
After limescale problems from people that don't use surgical steel with hard water and don't have an auto flush that flushes twice with cold water (older generators only flush once), is the 2nd biggest problem that causes leaks and nearly every customer complaint is not having a quality water pressure reducer. Not having one of these attached to your steam generator can cause many problems and expenses down the road.

Make sure the one you get is a quality one or it can rust and corrode also. Depending on your water, you might get by with a cheap one or have to buy a more expensive one.

Contact me so you know all the things that can preserve your generator so you don't have to spend lots of time maintaining your steam generator.
If getting a water pressure reducer make sure you get the type that does not have a cartridge and does not have plastic internals.
All brass and all internals are separate instead of being in a cartridge. The best go down to 10psi without plastic mounts and cartridges.  Most plumbers don't do a flush during the first installation that can ruin the pressure reducer from day one.
Notice for people looking at a 6kw or 9kw Thermasol:
I urge people to read below. Many people think they know what size they want. Most sizing charts are generic. On the below example, many people call in and say they need a 12kw and they actually need a 9kw. Those looking at a 6kw size generator are the people that get the wrong size the most. On the Thermasol, their 6kw is for up to 84 cubic feet. The Steamcore, for example, their 6kw can handle up to a 175 cubic foot room. I urge people to take the sizing chart quiz I made that will help me pick out the right size based on your answers. Please take this quiz AFTER YOU TAKE THE MAIN STEAM QUIZ ON THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. The sizing quiz is at the top of the page.
One sizing does not fit all brands. So, the Thermasol 6kw model can work up to 84 cubic feet. MR. STEAM can handle up to 110 to 150 cubic feet (150 assuming when we tested it at 7 foot. If 8 foot then stay with 110 cubic feet. The Steamcore handles up to 175 cubic feet.
The Steamcore non pressure cooker type generator needs a 12kw generator for 525 cubic feet. If someone uses this information and wants dry steam with low condensate and chooses a 12kw Thermasol for 525 cubic feet, it can be the reason for a return since it is the wrong size.
