BUYING CHEAP RETURNED STEAM GENERATORS

I have to make a page on this because nearly every customer asks if we have any used steam generators or any returns from people who bought the wrong size or they didn’t have the right amperage or wanted continuous steam. There are so many reasons why people get generators and return them without even using them.

Note: nearly all of these returns are when dealers don’t allow returns or if they do they charge a huge restocking fee and they have to pay to ship it back plus the original shipping to them. It doesn’t make sense to return it back to the manufacturer or distributor if it’s going to cost nearly half the price they paid for it. So, we take these as trade ins when people want to get a different brand or size.

Many companies don't know what to do about all the wrong size returns. It's a crisis right now. So many people are not sizing them right. They rely on their contractor. The contractor goes on some sizing chart and it says you need a 7.5 kw. Then they tell their customer and the customer chooses a different brand and gets a 7.5 kw. They really needed a 10.5 kw. They didn't adjust for anything except for adding 30% for ceramic. Also, if you need a certain size in one brand, it most likely will be a different size in a different brand depending on the psi or if it is an atmospheric steam generator. No company like to take returns unless they can quickly sell it to the next customer.

So, when companies call me and ask if I want to take a return I almost aways want it if it is something that I am comfortable selling. They get them shipped back to them. They certify it and make sure nothing is wrong with it and slap on the original warranty again.
