Thermasol generators give the highest relative constant steam out of all the brands I have compared. The single tank brands can give a high relative humidity for a good minute or two but then as the duty cycle stops the steam cloud drops and you have to wait till the temperature gets low enough for the next steam session.
Thermasol is not a low psi CHINESE IMPORT like some of the competitors that have dual tanks now. I have called athletic clubs and spas in all the 50 states and 9 out of 10 have Thermasol. Equinox and Lifetime Fitness have Thermasol in case you are ever in an area so you can try one. It is worth paying 35 dollars for their day pass to experience a dual tank steam if you haven't already.
As far as pressurized steam, Thermasol has the highest dryness fraction of all the dual pressurized steam brands out there. (yes, I can get SteamSpa as that is the most popular dual tank that Home Depot has been selling for years). It is a Chinese import and yes, it does have a constant steam but there are more drawbacks than advantages. If you don't mind high maintenance which is the top issue I have or you can only afford to pay 1/3rd the price of a Thermasol, then it can be a good option. I am mentioning this because one out of every three people contacting me are comparing these brands side by side.

Concerns: If you have a ceiling 8 foot or higher and using ceramic high porous wall material, please contact us as many people make the mistake of oversizing. The best steam generators vaporize nearly 95% of the water before it is released. If undersizing, the generator will have to overwork and will not have a dryness fraction over 95%. If you don't care about this stuff and want to just tell all your friends you have a new steam generator, then don't bother taking the time to biohack your steam room. Some people don't want to get this involved in their steam room purchase and just want to be told what to get. These are the people that usually end up with a c or d- steam quality.

Notice for people looking at a 6kw, 7.5kw, or 9kw generators: If you get the wrong size generator by upsizing or undersizing, you will have a high absolute humidity if you undersize and if oversizing you can have too high of relative humidity where it feels more like a sauna (very hot with a less dense steam cloud).

There are people (very few) that have plenty of time to wait 5 minutes with very little steam as if they were waiting for the bus. Many retired, elderly people with nothing else to do with their time have 45 minutes to an hour to kill and don't mind waiting for the bus for 25 minutes with very little steam. Just the 1 or 2 minutes of high relative steam is enough to get their heart racing where they need that 5 minute window to catch their breath. The goal is to raise the core body temperature 3 degrees to get an artificial fever to get heat shock proteins and vasodilation. With Thermasol, having constant steam where you can actually control the temperature let's people be more in charge of the temperature in the steam room.
The steam from a Thermasol is not sticky and maintains the steam cloud since it has 2 boiling tanks. Not everyone has the time to wait (usually 15 minutes) for the walls of the steam room to get hot. With a dryer steam, you feel the steam without it sticking to the wall and having it feel like a muggy until the walls meet the room temperature.
I describe the steam quality from Thermasol a light micron vapor feel. It uses up to 3 heating elements in each generator. (Single tank brands usually have one large heating element). It comes out with less fluence but stays on longer. Some generators can put out 6 ounces of water per minute and some 4 ounces and some 10 ounces (cheap high condensate types). In a 20 minute session some generators used around a gallon (6.4 ounces per minute) while the types that are considered wet steam types use about 1.5 gallons in a 20 minute session.
Note: if the generator is close to to the maximum 50 feet distance from the steam head, the steam quality will not be the same as if it was very close.
ThermaSol is made in the USA. By this I mean it is actually made in the states, not made in China and only assembled and put together in the USA. The only one that is truley made here and quality justifies it. (If 15% or more is assembled in the USA and all the parts come from China, legally they can say MADE IN THE USA. Thermasol builds there generators in Texas.
Thermasol uses infrared sensors to control their temperature in some of their models. This gives a more controlled steam room temperature and balanced steam than the physical temperature probes that most brands have.
Note: Thermasol steam generators pressurized flush works best if a home has over 35 pounds of pressure. Make sure it is over this.
